4WD Off Road Course - Sydney

Even on the bitumen a 4WD will handle and react to conditions differently to your standard road going rig. Without experience it is impossible to know how far you can push your machine before it rolls slides loses traction and so on. Some disregard these facts and head off undaunted putting themselves and their passengers at risk. Others recognise their lack of experience and their 4WD is doomed to the life of a family hack...while the smart ones eager to enjoy the vehicle in all its glory go and ask an expert. By combining a safe and responsible approach to training with the beauty of the Australian countryside and bush this is a truly unique 4WD course and learning experience. The courses are a structured learning program incorporating both theoretical and practical learning sessions they are flexible in their application and provide the trainee with all the necessary skills required for off road driving. You will meet on Friday night in Goulburn drive out to the property with a stop along the way at a historic pub to say hello to the locals. If you are not able to make it on Friday night you can join on Saturday morning. Upon arrival at the property there is an official welcome and induction house rules are explained and you will be shown the facilities. Once the camp is set up its time for a social chat in the common area with a blazing fire going in winter. Saturday is taken up with tuition and meals; in the evening there is a 45 minute recap and question/answer session after dinner and social time. Sunday is again taken up with tuition and meals. There is a certificate presentation and a "fine/penalty" session for bit of fun and all proceeds go towards the Royal Flying Doctor Service.
