Hang Gliding Tandem at Byron Bay

Upon arriving at the hang gliding hill you will be given a short briefing on the procedures and how you will take off with your instructor. You will be signed up as a trainee pilot as this will be
an instructional flight that you could take further to solo stage in the future if you wish.
Launching into the gentle breeze is easy and we soon gain height to obtain a spectacular view over the cliffs and beaches of Cape Byron.
The controls of the hang glider will be explained as we fly, and very soon you will be able to have a go at flying it yourself. You will soar like an eagle in the purest form that a human can, with
your face in the wind and gentle body movements to steer the glider.
Landing is easy and gentle on the beach. A small camera is recommended to bring with you for the easiest way to have a record of the flight. All you need is light sporty clothing and runners or sandals for footwear.
