Learn to Sail - Weekend Course

After a short introduction you will be shown aboard your yacht. Our yachts are all keel boats which range in size from 21 to 50 feet. Yachts vary but include luxurious Hunter & Beneteaus.

Objectives to be covered in the Introductory Sailing Course are:
Know what safety equipment to carry on board, when and how to use it. Understand the principles of sailing and how they apply to a larger yacht. Be familiar with basic sailing technology. Have a basic understanding of how to sail a yacht on all points, tacking, gybing and basic sail trimming.

Know the safe and correct use of winches - hardening in and easing out.
