Pitts Special Sydney Harbour Scenic Flight

Upon your arrival at Bankstown, you will climb into a flight-suit and prepare to board the Pitts Special. Your pilot will strap you securely into the open-air cockpit of the Pitts Special S2A aerobatic bi-plane and fasten your headphones and flight helmet. There will be plenty of time for your family and friends to take photographs of you as you prepare for your flight. Once you are secure, your pilot will prepare the plane for take off. You will be able to hear all the calls to air traffic control and speak to your pilot through the intercom.

You will take off from Bankstown Airport and climb over the outer suburbs of Sydney to reach a cruising altitude of 1500ft. Youll soar over the Olympic site at Homebush Bay then circle the suburbs of Hornsby and St Ives. Once granted clearance to Sydney Harbour, youll tour the city, taking in a birds eye view of iconic landmarks like the Sydney Opera House, Harbour Bridge, fly higher than the eagles at Taronga Park Zoo and salute the sailors on Garden Island.

Its the best seat in the house for the best view in the world!

You might also get a chance to check out Rose Bay and the world famous Bondi Beach, before heading north over Middle Harbour, Spit Bridge and Manly towards Long Reef.

This is where things get really exciting as you pull out all stops with some aerobatics (optional); try a loop and a roll to give you a view of the world from a completely different perspective. This is what the Pitts was made for! Youll head back home over Mona Vale where you may catch a glimpse of the spectacular Bahai temple.
