Abseiling Glasshouse Mountains - Brisbane

Abseiling in the Glasshouse Mountains is a great adventure. You will experience a whole day out and a variety of different cliffs that are all close to the walking trail. These weathered volcanic plugs are steeped in Aboriginal legend. You may even get to hear a tale or two from the Dreamtime! We start the day with a safety briefing then have a few abseils off the nursery slopes (15 metres) before moving up to the 25 metre slopes which are also a great place for lunch. After plenty of abseils off the 25 metre cliffs we move to the final abseil of 50 metres. By progressively moving to more challenging abseils throughout the day you will have plenty of opportunities to work on improving and refining your abseiling technique. The Glasshouse Mountains are a spectacular abseiling location surrounded by craggy volcanic peaks which tower above pine plantations eucalypt forests and open fields with awesome panoramic views of the surrounding mountains.
