Prison Life Tour Of St Helena Island In 1905

On the the 40 minute journey on board the Cat O' Nine Tails you will go back one 100 years. After a short break for morning tea, our guides will escort you to the prison stockade. Be prepared for their stories and the reenactment of the brutal punishments inflicted on the unfortunate inmates of this harsh Penal establishment. You will then be served with a delicious lunch of ham, chicken and salad, with tea, coffee and iced water followed by a famous St Helena muffin. After lunch you will be led on a tour of the island's cemeteries and here the stories of the prisoners and children who rest on St Helena forever. At the end of the program we will transport you back to the present day whilst entertaining you with some songs from St Helena's history.
