Glow Worm Night Tour and Dinner Experience

'Finalist' in the 2001 and the 2002 Queensland Tourism Awards in the category of 'Significant Regional Attraction', the Natural Bridge Glow Worm Tour which operates nightly, introduces participants to the wondrous night-time world of the lush green rainforests of the Gold Coast hinterland.

Following dinner, you will marvel at the wonders of the southern sky by night as your expert guide points out stars, planets and constellations unique to Australia. We then visit the unique and wondrous World Heritage listed National Parks of South East Queensland, so listed for their universal significance, and subsequently protected forever.

Your expert environmental guide will take you on an evening bush-walk through sub-tropical rainforest, where glow worms light up the night. You will learn about their life cycle, and their dependence on a delicate balance of nature. Apart from the main attraction, the sparkling glow-worms that inhabit the cave around a cascading waterfall in the Natural Bridge section of the World Heritage listed Springbrook National Park, the guided walk offers up an abundance of remarkable rainforest plants unique to the region, as well as some interesting animals who's nightly routine goes on despite the human visitors to their nocturnal world. After the guided rainforest walk, enjoy supper in the forest before returning to your accommodation.

You will also receive as a memento of your tour, a World Heritage Visitation Certificate endorsed by UNESCO and featuring their World Heritage emblem, to certify your contribution to the conservation and preservation of this beautiful area.
