V8 Race Buggies (8 laps + 1 hot lap), Gold Coast - QLD

You???ll drive these V8 powered off-road buggies & get to have some fun driving on a purpose built dirt track in Brisbane. Our off-road buggy racing day will begin with a drivers briefing on the rules and track conditions. This will also give you an insight into what to expect from these awesome off-road machines before you get into the drivers seat. Once you???ve completed the briefing you???ll kick off with Stage 1: On stage 1 you'll drive a real race buggy with an instructor riding along as your navigator offering encouragement and some handy tips on car control. Your confidence will grow as each lap goes by so make sure you take in all the tips and put them into practice. The buggies are powered by powerful Toyota Lexus engines. You???ll be decked out in your full face helmet, overalls, and strapped into a 5 point race harness so you are in good hands with safety our first priority. To round off the day you'll now take part in Stage 2 which is where our professional driver takes the wheel and you shove over to the navigator???s seat. Hang on as he shows you how it's done with real air time and amazing drifts. Or check the option box to the right of the page and upgrade for more laps. With the upgrade you will receive a total of 19 laps with you behind the wheel and 1 hot lap with your instructor showing you how it???s done. After your briefing the upgraded format is as follows: Stage 1 (11 laps): On stage 1 you'll drive a real race buggy with an instructor riding along as your navigator offering encouragement and some handy tips on car control. Your confidence will grow as each lap goes by so make sure you take in all the tips and put them into practice. Now that the bloods pumping you'll hit Stage 2 (8 laps). You'll take what you learnt in Stage 1 and push yourself and your buggy a little harder getting that all over grin. For the last lap the stop watch is on so don't spin out! To round off the day you'll now take part in Stage 3 (1 hot lap) which is where our professional driver takes the wheel and you shove over to the navigators seat.
