Learn to Race V8s, Perth - WA

'You're about to race a purpose-built V8 racecar in a fast race with pitstops and driver changes with expert instruction in complete safety. You'll work closely with your CAMS licensed instructor and team mates to develop strategies and techniques for qualifying and racing V8 racecars. Learn trail braking, racing lines, improve visual skills and maximise V8 race car control Your day will start with a briefing which will cover vehicle dynamics and advanced driving principles, once the briefing has finished you will suit up and commence driving exercises include slalom, chicane, corner apexing, braking, steering, corner entry and exits. Now its time to fill the belly with a great hot gourmet lunch, after lunch there will be a Q&A session, where youll be told about the format for the afternoon. Then its time to test what youve learned, youll also be practicing driver changes and plan tactics with other team members. Once all teams are ready its time to race! Event 1: Assemble cars on the starting grid (first driver ready). You will be organised into teams of four and assigned a car and your own instructor for the day. Rest assured sharing a car with three team mates does not mean you will not get enough driving. You will complete around 30 laps behind the wheel over the course of the day! Event 1 has 12 laps in total of driving Event 2: Event 2 has 12 laps in total of driving.
